Top Workout Songs with 130 BPM

130-bpm-songs

The industry’s top Group Fitness Instructors agree that songs with tempos between 120-140 BPM are ideal for fitness motivation. That’s the pace we typically associate with popular dance music, and it’s also the rate of the average person’s heartbeat during routine exercise.

With that in mind, we rounded up our top remixes that clock in at 130 BPM. These tracks will provide more than enough oomph to keep you motivated throughout any fitness class. Check them out to see if you find your new fitness anthem!

1. "Money"

Cardi B’s latest single, “Money,” released in October 2018, celebrates financial security in the most opulent way imaginable. With imagery of leather pajamas; big, fat checks; and diamonds on her neck, this song is motivation to be bad in the best way. In addition to the radio version, we have two different remixes of the song, an EDM and a drum-and-bass version, both at 130 BPM to keep you flexing.

2."7 Rings"

“7 Rings” is the spoiled lovechild of The Sound of Music’s “My Favorite Things” and The Notorious B.I.G.’s “Gimme the Loot.” This Ariana Grande single, released in January 2019 before flying to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, was inspired by a shopping trip to Tiffany’s with her girlfriends, where she bought each of them a ring in a champagne-induced celebration of their friendship. Our remix, featured on our Top 40, Vol. 72, brings up the energy to 130 BPM with a steady beat and breaks it down with invigorating drops.

3."1999"

“1999” is a tribute to everything that made Charli XCX who she is today. With references to her childhood idols, Britney Spears and the Spice Girls, the song takes us back to the days when Charli XCX was just the British singer’s name on MSN Messenger. Our 130 BPM Future House Remix of the song is an upbeat track created to help you keep rhythm as you relive your youth.

4. "Are You Gonna Go My Way"

This song has come a long way since Lenny Kravitz released it in 1993, being covered and remixed by various artists and film producers before falling into the hands of Danish DJ Kato, who remixed it in 2008. Our Elektro Club Remix intensifies an already fire track, bringing it up to a felony-level 130 BPM.

5. "Happy Now"

A bittersweet collaboration between Russian-German music producer Zedd and American singer Elley Duhé, this post-breakup pop ballad was released in July 2018 as Zedd’s most organic-sounding track to date. Our remix brings the whimsical, mid-tempo energy way up to 130 BPM with a pulsing beat and heart-racing breakdowns.

6. "Back to You"

Selena Gomez wrote and released “Back to You” in May 2018 as the lead single from the soundtrack for the Netflix original series 13 Reasons Why, for which she is an executive producer. The song is a heart-wrenching dance-pop anthem about never getting over your ex. We’ve created two different remixes of the song, a snappy Progressive House Remix and a Funky House Remix, both of which provide the energy to power through any fitness challenge.

7. "Azukita"

“Azukita,” very roughly translated as “sugar,” is a supercharged reggaeton track born from a collaboration between Steve Aoki, Daddy Yankee, Play-N-Skillz, and Elvis Crespo. The song’s music video features a virtual reality dance-off, providing more than enough inspiration for your next Zumba class. Our 130 BPM remix adds a final dash of energy to an already explosive track.

8. "Never Be the Same"

Camila Cabello’s dark pop track about addictive love was released in January 2018 as part of her debut studio album, Camila. With its pain-is-pleasure theme, the song is fitting for an endorphin-releasing fitness class. Our remix doubles the original track’s leisurely pace of 65 BPM, bringing it to a new level at 130 BPM.
